2014 Cimarron County Fair.

Every year, I enter several of my favorite pictures into our local fair. It’s always a pain to choose which ones because I wait too long and take thousands of pictures. It pains me to narrow it down to a few that fit into their pretty narrow categories. Here’s my 2014 choices:

While there are many more I could have choose, I like my selection. It seems to be the perfect mix of travel, professional, and farm life.

August 2014 (i-Phone snaps).

Like most of the world, I seem to always have my i-Phone on me and ready for a quick snap. While I still carry my big camera a lot, I can’t say that I don’t often capture fun memories with my tiny little phone camera. Here’s several of my favorites from 2014:

Notice the abundance of nephew and big sky pictures. They are always my favorite.

Best Buddies.

Justice is a little bit obsessed with every single one of our nephews. It doesn’t matter which one is here visiting, he wants to be sitting near them. And when I turn away, he likes to sneak in licks to the face. He’s something else.

219/365- 230/365.

Hi! I’m back today to share more of my 365 pictures! I’m a little off because I missed last week and the week before I was traveling and posted a few pictures short, so today is going to be an extra long post! Hopefully, I can get all caught up!

219/365: Packing help. Today, I packed for a short trip to Colorado. Cricket was sure she needed to help me.

220/365: Colorado Springs. This was the view from our beautiful motel room in Colorado Springs. We were there for a short business trip that we followed with business.

221/365: Adventuring. Next we headed to Denver for another couple of days of fun.

222/365: Fun day! Today, we met up with one of Colby’s cousins and her girls and went to Water World (so much fun) and to an arcade. It was a blast!

223/365: Mountains. Today we headed home. It’s always nice to be out of town, but going home is even better.

224/365: My walking view. This evening, I enjoyed a great evening walk. Love these big open skies! (i-phone shot).

225/365: Enchiladas. Tonight, I made shredded beef enchiladas for dinner. They were delicious.

226/365: Gavin Cole. Today, I watched my nephews. This little is such a happy guy!

227/365: Drilling wheat. Today, I took Colby out dinner while he was drilling wheat.

228/365: Happy Birthday, Jamey! I went to Amarillo, took Jamey to lunch, and let her open her presents. It was a great time!

229/365: Itty bitty frog. Jamey and I found this little guy hopping around outside. Isn’t he precious?!

230/365: Checking sprinklers. Today, Colby and I checked sprinklers in the farm and snapped this selfie. Fun  times!

I will be back next week with more daily shots!

Stephanie Clark - SUCH great photos! I can’t believe how tiny that little frog is!

Candice - As always, I love your pictures! Love that little froggy.

Drilling wheat.

This year, Colby is getting an early start on drilling some wheat for one of our custom farming clients. One night, I went out so that I could deliver him dinner to the tractor, snap a few pictures at sunset, and make a few rounds with my husband.

These pictures are some of my favorites I’ve taken in a while. It was a beautiful evening!
