Scavenger Hunt Sunday

Well, it’s been a very long while since I participated, but I think it’s time I went on another Scavenger Hunt. Lately, the grey, cold winter has been driving me nuts! It’s hard to come up with something fabulous and pretty to photograph when everything is dull and lifeless. I’m hoping that a little Scavenger Hunt Sunday will be exactly what I need to get clicking again.

Here’s what I found:

Facial Feature

A couple of weeks ago, Colby and I went and watched Jamey play basketball. She is new to the sport (like most other forth graders) and mostly ran around looking very confused. He team was totally dominated by what I’m assuming was an all-star team from the larger neighboring team. The next weekend, I received the exciting news that Jamey had made her first basket. I wasn’t very good at basketball in high school and told Jamey she obviously wasn’t getting her talents from me. She replied, “Well, you know we don’t all have the same gifts. Yours isn’t basketball like mine, but you sure can take pretty pictures.” I about died; it was too hillarious.

Shadow

My sweet pup, Justice, can be a little nosy when he realizes I’ve gone outside without him. This evening, there was a goregous sunset, but I think I ended up liking this picutre of my boy more. Our door always has nose prints, by the way.

Spicy

I made a homemade pizza last week for lunch on Superbowl Sunday. I used spicy sasuage and it was delicious.

Gold

In the evenings when I’m editing, I often light a candle and enjoy the golden light and delicious sents. I find it very relaxing.

Fabric

In our house, we almost always have blankets on our laps or coving our bodies. We like to keep the temperature cool and cuddle.
