Macro love.

Here’s one reason I LOVE my macro lens- it turns even the most ordinary sights into a thing of artwork.

Before the time changed, I found myself spending a lot of my evenings out in the yard, exploring with my 100mm 2.8L Macro lens. I suddenly wanted to capture the crispy leaves, pine cones, and little rocks in our yard. Now when I leave work at five, the sun is already rapidly fading from the sky and I barely have any time at all for photography fun. But that’s another topic all together and this is supposed to be Wordless Wednesday, so I will hush.

Just a few more words though: I love my macro lens.

Kimberly - Beautiful! I don’t have a macro lens (yet!) but I do love my macro filters! It is like seeing the world through a whole new light.

Thank you for linking up with Wild & Wonderful Wednesday!

Faith - beautiful!!

Tezzie - Awesome! (still jealous ;D)

Cedar - I love the details in this…so awesome! Glad you are enjoying your lens! Did you see Rosie’s tutorial on Ashley’s blog about making a light box so you can take pictures in the evening? Free…or cheap. Deals with that pesky night problem. http://www.ashleysisk.com/2011/11/shoot-and-edit-week-43edit-guest.html

My friend made one similar with black background…sets up the tripod and takes a long exposure…but lovely macros.

(I bought a flash to contend with the night myself…but no macro…choices, choices.)

kbreints - ….and I need one of those!! Fantastic shot!
